Its as if neither of us exist. Complete silence over a cup of tea
Its dark out. Wet out. Cold and perfect to be alone.
Perfect to walk in the rainstorm with your head hung low.
Walk past a familiar face without any meaning to the billions of thoughts
Bouncing in your head. To you, theyre just another face. No one special
No one you loved. The pictures you kept are just the same as the one you burned.
Black, empty, with no meaning. No nothing. A mysterious dark cloud hung over your head
And you DO NOT KNOW WHY. It isnt fair for something so beautiful to be overruled.
Invisible. Once invincible. It was all a lie. In a perfect little house. With a perfect little fence and a white swing were they spoke their secrets, hopes, dreams
All over a cup of tea. The rain patters hard on the wrap-around porch with their own sense of loneliness suffocating the air.
But they walk on by without a second glace, a second thought, a single word
Its all to silent with the thoughts of joy and the city lights bring a depressing glow
Upon the once lively streets. They walk in silence away from it all with their hands shoved in their pockets.
Poetry running through their skulls.
Its a dim wet night and you dont know why it hurts. Yet youre heart is crying, telling you that they are the one. But WHO is the one? Because you dont recognize their face, their smile, their life. Its all hidden by an umbrella
Everything they had, torn to pieces. Never spared. Never sacrificed for the greater good of their own. Violets once tucked behind your ear from the flowers that filled your garden surrounded by the white fence that kept your soul in.
But the colors fade and the once purple sky turns to grey. And your sense of security begins to wither away.
You remember its dark out. Wet out. Cold and perfect to be alone.
But the sun shines somewhere in your head where you have yet to roam.
The past means nothing, like the pictures you have. And your bed is always cold without them there and you DO NOT KNOW WHY
Its as if neither of you ever existed. Complete silence over a cup of tea.

The perspective is great as well .
