I woke up a little half past eight with the smell of coffee in my ears.
A random scent of interspersion, and a lack of pun and tears.
But I will tell you this, and this only once:
The boy would never forget
But the girl, she forgot.
She forgot.
The first thing the boy will tell you
Is that she has bubblegum in her hair
And her eyes are as soft and round as marshmallows,
But in her head, there is nothing there.
As for the girl, she would tell you the boy was odd.
Yes. Simple and odd. Nothing more. Nothing less.
But she seems to always give him her best.
The seasons past and the rains came.
The wind blew hard and the piano played.
The sky turned green and the grass a soft blue.
The girl forgot the boy
And the boy forgot you.
The summer followed the spring.
And the spring, the fall, and winter fell hard
And soon we will repeat it all.
The girl forgot to mention the boy.
She forgot.
The boy. That boy, never forgot.
Never forgot.
The girl would disappear and learn how to fly.
The boy would dance in the rain and, slowly, he would die.
The day my toes stay cold, or I cut my hair too short, and my nail polish chips.
I can tell you already, Ive had enough of this.
But the world will come to an end
And Ill regret that day for the rest of my life.
All because the girl forgot the boy,
And the boy took his life.

It's too bad i keep reading it over and over to see the story play through my head again..
And this song that's on right now, it's like the final piece to this poem!
This had me on the edge of tears.
beautiful, really.
I can't express how much enough.
